Tawag ng Tanghalan is one of the biggest amateur singing competition here in the Philippines, currently aired as a segment of the noontime show, It’s Showtime.
March 11, 2017, is their first grand finals that occurred at Resorts World Manila.
After all the contestants sang their best songs, Noven Balleza, Froilan Canlas and Sam Mangubat made it to the top 3. Their last performance is 3 songs that was combined as medley for their piece to win the grand champion.
Noven Balleza is one the most promising singer in the competition, he’s a rice farmer from Negros Occidental. He sang 3 Air Supply all time hits in medley where a lot of audience, even the judges were amazed on his talent, they give him a standing ovation after and during his performance.
