A camping trip turned into a heartbreaking tragedy as 14 students died and 20 other were wounded from the BestLink College of the Philippines in Novaliches, in an accident in Sitio Bayucan, Barangay Sampaloc in Tanay, Rizal on Monday morning, February 20 at around 8:30 am.
According to reports, the tourist bus carrying about 50 passengers lost its breaks and rammed into an electric post.
All students from Bestlink College of the Philippines in Novaliches, Quezon City were bound for a camping activity at Sacramento Adventure Camp in Tanay, according to Berlito Bat, Jr., training officer of the Tanay MDRRMC.
But before the unexpected tragic happen, as a student they are all happy and excited. One of the student named Sam Garcia Vidal posted a pictures of them inside the bus around 5 am. We’ve seen in the photos how they are excited for their trip without knowing that the tragic accident will happen to them while on their way to a camping activity.
Sam is now in a stable condition and recovering already but she’s having a hard time in walking.
