McNeal Briguela, professionally known as Awra or Batang Awra is a Filipino child actor and comedian. He gained recognition when he starred as “MakMak” in Ang Probinsyano, personally he was chosen by Coco Martin.
Before rising as one of the funny and bubbly child star Awra, who was first seen in the hit primetime series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” and is in the top-grossing film “The Super Parental Guardians,” had gone through many hardships in life.
From being a simple kid with lot of dreams, Awra had no idea that his life long dream could turn into a reality, to be a one of the new finest comedian and become a break out child star. Awra started as an internet sensation, he discovered after lot of netizens was entertained on his video which was posted online, when he was projecting in front of the camera.
Recently, Awra shared a glimpse of his home to his fans, in his hometown in Las Pinas, he bought a humble looking home for his family. For the episode of Rated K, Awra came back to the place where he grew up as a normal kid and visited his old friends.
Despite his career as a young comedian and actor, Awra did not forget his roots and
even introduced his friends who became a huge part of his life. The break out star even introduced his best friend, and a few other people who helped them during tough times.
